About Kerry Rea

Kerry Rea represented the Ward of Holland Park on Brisbane City Council since 1997. She previously held the ward of Ekibin 1991-1994.

Kerry graduated from school in Wynnum and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland majoring in English, History and Philosophy. Before entering Council, Kerry worked for a State Minister.
Kerry is a mother of three and is married to husband Ian.

Throughout her time in council, Kerry delivered on key projects and infrastructure for the community such as the Holland Park Suburban Centre Improvement Project, the Mount Gravatt Suburban Centre Improvement Project and a new PCYC in Mount Gravatt.

Kerry’s experience gained as a local councillor gives her a better insight into what the federal government should be doing for Bonner.

Kerry is keen to keep up the good work, delivering infrastructure and services at the federal level. Kerry is committed to promoting environmental sustainability and creating a fair society.
